Open Crafting Day
Give yourself a break! Join us for a full day of uninterrupted creative time here at Maker’s Retreat! Whether you’re working on a long-term project or starting something new, this is your chance to dig in, relax, and enjoy the process in a welcoming space filled with fellow makers.
The cost is $50.00 per person.
Lunch and dinner are included.
Comfy tables, chairs, and great lighting for each person
A peaceful atmosphere to make, focus, and enjoy your craft.
Optional: Friday evening (5-9 pm), you may bring your things and set up and arrange your things so you can jump right in Saturday morning.

Friendship Block Party
Join us for a beginner-friendly quilting class focused on the classic Friendship Star Block! Whether you are brand new to quilting or brushing up on basics, this fun, relaxed, hands-on class is the perfect starting point.
In this class, you’ll learn:
Fundamental quilting techniques
How to accurately cut fabric using a rotary cutter and self-healing mat
How to create your very own friendship star bloc
By the end of the session, you will leave with a finished quilt block and the confidence to keep stitching. No prior quilting experience necessary- just bring your creativity and a willingness to learn!
All supplies and tools are provided to make your first block, but feel free to bring your own fabric and your own machine if you have one you’re already comfortable with.
Choose what day and time works for you! Each day teaches the same core techniques. Or, join us for all three days and build on your progress to complete a small quilt by the final day.
Cost:
$25.00 per day
OR All three days for $60.00 (save $15.00 and go home with a quilt!)
A light lunch, snacks, and drinks (coffee, water, tea, and hot cocoa) will be provided, but feel free to bring your own drink.
Note, this is NOT an overnight stay.
